Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, Bill graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1966 with a degree in Economics. Following two years in the U.S. Army, Bill attended the Florida State University College of Law, graduating with honors in 1970. In 2000, following 29 years of legal practice in Orlando, Bill, and his wife Marnie, moved to Connestee Falls in Transylvania County. Bill is a past President of the Connestee Falls Golf Association and past member of the Connestee Falls Finance Committee. Bill and Marnie are members of the Brevard College Board of Visitors and Co-Chairs of Friends of Fine Arts at Brevard College. Bill received his real estate license in 2002. In his spare time, Bill enjoys golf and hiking in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
